Dream Walkers Equine Therapy
Providing Therapy Through Horses
Welcome and Thank you for visiting!
We are working daily to improve the look and information contained on our page.
Dream Walkers Equine Therapy Center focuses on the safety of our riders. Horseback activities use the rocking motion and the horses gait to create and improve the movement in the riders everyday standing and walking. Riding encourages muscle tone, balance, motor coordination and posture by making the rider move in the proper way.
Equine Therapy can also help to overcome fear, anxiety and help families overcome trauma. This type of therapy helps build and strengthen coping skills and help build a sense of self control through nonverbal communication with the horse is especially important when someone has experienced a traumatic event and cannot find or chooses not to verbally communicate their feelings. The bond and trust built between human and horse is a strong one.
Since starting Dream Walkers Equine Therapy Center, I have been blessed exponentially watching my students bond with horses, and all of the progress their minds and bodies have made! It is a rewarding experience for me, as well as for my dedicated volunteers.
I would like to take a minute and encourage everyone reading this to come visit our center and see all we have to offer.
We hope you can find the information you are looking for.
Dream Walkers Equine Therapy Center is focused on providing high-quality service and client satisfaction. We will do everything we can to meet your expectations.
Equine therapy is provided through the use of horses to help the handicapped/disabled to function from day to day. The use of a horse strengthens muscles, body control, gives a sense of self satisfaction and allows our riders to enjoy some independence.
